Dear Professor Traub,

Thank you for your letter of January 30.

I have asked Professors Feigenbaum and Knuth to write to you;
if you wish to contact any other references mentioned in my vitae
feel free to do so.

As I've already informed Lucy Erman (via the Arpanet), I will be
happy to visit CMU and give a talk on Monday, Feb. 16.
I'll arrive Sunday evening and depart for Boston on Tuesday evening.
A copy of the title and abstract for my talk are enclosed
(again, I've sent a copy to Lucy).

Enclosed are copies of the four Artificial Intelligence papers I've
published (sorry, one is now available only in microfiche).

I'll be going to the ACM conference in Anaheim next week. If you
attend, perhaps we can meet there. If not, I look forward to
seeing you the following Monday.
